Participants briefed reporters on a new report by Mr. Camarota on the impact of low-skilled labor immigration on low-skilled U.S. workers. The study concludes that immigration decreases wages for U.S. workers in low-skilled occupations. It is based on comparisons of the proportions of immigrants in various occupations with the wages of U.S. workers in those same occupations. close
