In remarks on the Senate floor, the Indiana Republican explains why he didn't sign on to Freshman Senator Tom Cotton's (R-AR) letter to Iran's leaders opposing the talks and any possible deal resulting from them. "A nuclear weapons-capable Iran is as dangerous as a nuclear-armed Iran," Coats said. He called for a three-thronged approach of diplomacy, sanctions and the credible threat of using military force to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon....
