I have been baffled by this story, there always seemed to be something missing in the general reporing, and there is. Melissa Klein made an appointment with the lesbian couple for a cake tasting, it was her husband who, at the time of the appointment refused to do business with them. But he went a step further and made the attack personal, he was insulting. The lesbian couple did not file suit, but rather made a complaint about their treatment to a government dept. who handles complaints about businesses, a right they have. Aaron became angry about that complaint and put the personal information of this lesbian couple online, and that is when he added injury to insult. The bakery owners were not fined over cake, they were fined for inciting a pretty malicious crowd to issue attacks againt this lesbian couple. Aaron does not apologize for that here. The law suit began with the harassment, not with a cake. close
