GMO Debate, July 7, 2016 - Senator Hoeven repeats the same myths and basic disinformation that has been repeated over and over by every other GMO supporter who seeks only to keep Americans in the DARK and who justify this utterly unethical behavior with falsehoods. Somehow the myth that families would spend more money if GMOs were labeled went from $500 (according to Rep. Pompeo) last year to $1000 a few months ago (according Sen. Roberts) to “thousands of dollars” on this day, thanks to John Hoeven. Tell a lie often enough … This series of false inflated statements is representative of the fraud, lies, deception and myths that are an integral part of the history of GMOs, especially by government officials. Any “truth” of the moment will do, as long as it fools people enough to benefit the corporate will and spit in the face of millions of Americans. It is ultimately, one lie after another, after another. close
