This bill is a scam, and Mike Pompeo is infamous for falsely claiming that the previous versions of the Dark Act that he introduced in 2014 and 2015 - which failed - would not keep anyone from knowing what was in their food. This was blatantly dishonest. He was completely wrong and just as wrong now. Supporters of this bill have no interest in representing the will of their constituents, but instead, fulfilling the will of the biotech industry. Consequently, there is no place for a rational debate which depends of reason, logic, and ethics. None of these are present in supporters. Their only concern denying Americans the Right to Know in whatever capacity they can. Thus, the bill is based on lies, disinformation, fraud, pure ignorance and corruption. close
