Speaker of the House Paul Ryan talked today about a unified government that would get things done on Capitol Hill as soon as Donald Trump's hand left the Bible. But he didn't mean a bi-partisan government. He meant the new formation of a "Unified Republican Government" with a singular agenda. He said he was excited to be working with the President-Elect and the Vice President-Elect. No mention of working with Democrats. So much for consultation, compromise and consensus. close
