President Trump donated his entire pay check for the first quarter of his employment to the Department of Interior . Sean Spicer, White House Press Director, presented the check to Zinke. Zinke then took the opportunity to discuss changes in the Interior Department. "Lots of internal controls were not there" and he was beefing up prevention of sexual harassment. The park service is becoming more "dog friendly" to attract millenials. He has also acted to reverse the "war on coal" because jobs and energy indpendence matter. Regarding controversies over Obama naming large areas as "monuments" which enabled environmental restrictions, they are reviewing the entire process.
