Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) puts the blame for the government shutdown squarely on the shoulders of his Senate Democratic colleagues, accusing them of using immigration to gum up the process. He also says he will try again Sunday to move the process forward by taking up a three-week stopgap measure floated Friday night to end the stalemate. A cloture vote on the measure is set for Monday at 1:00 a.m. ET, but could be brought forward to Sunday evening if there is agreement to do so. close
