Vice President Pence Promises Tougher Sanctions Against North Korea

In a joint appearance with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Vice President Pence tells reporters that the U.S. plans to impose a new round of economic sanctions against North Korea. Mr. Pence, who is on a six-day trip to Japan and South Korea, says "the United States will soon unveil the toughest and most aggressive round of economic sanctions on North Korea ever. And we will continue to isolate North Korea until it abandons its nuclear and ballistic missile program once and for all." close
