Secretary Shulkin Regrets Distractions at the VA

Veterans Affairs Secretary Dr. David Shulkin responds to questions about "palace intrigue at the VA and the White House, saying that he acknowledges "that the distraction that has happened" is something he deeply regrets. He says there are a lot of people interested in politics but that he is focused on getting the job done for veterans. Responding to reports that he has placed an armed guard outside his office, the secretary says that every cabinet member has an armed security detail and he has nothing different in his security protocol. close
