Speaking in front a group at an event organized by the conservative American Enterprise Institute, Kavanaugh describes stare decisis as a crisis. When asking if there is a decision he believes should be overturned, Kavanaugh says yes and the crowd laughs as if they know the answer. Though he later gives the example of Morrison v. Olson, one wonders if that was what illicited the knowing laugh from the crowd. close
