User Clip: Rick Perry Energy Policy Plan

Republican presidential candidate and Texas Governor Rick Perry announced his energy policy and jobs plan in his first major policy address since entering the presidential race. The event was held at a U.S. Steel plant outside of Pittsburgh in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. He estimated his plan would create 1.2 million jobs by opening federal land to more energy exploration and production, overturning some Environmental Protection Agency clean-air regulations, and phasing out tax incentives for development of renewable energy. close
