Former NSA Chief Admiral Mike Rogers (Ret.) has told a forum at George Mason University in Virginia that he repeatedly warned President Trump about Russian hacking efforts before he left his post in June. Recalling the briefings with the president, Rogers said the president would tell him, "Mike, you know I'm in a different place." The former NSA chief recalled saying, "Sir, this isn't about politics, it isn't about party, it's about a foreign state that is attempting to subvert the very tenets of our structure." close
