Former British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has said he was wrong to believe that he could reset relations between Britain and Russia. Mr. Johnson, who stepped down earlier this year over differences with Theresa May on her Brexit policy, said he made the classic mistake of thinking he could reset the relationship. He also called two Russian individuals, recently named in the March 4 Salisbury nerve agent attack, "murderers" for the death of a British national who accidentally came into contact with the nerve agent, Novichok, used in the attack in which two other Russians were targeted. Secretary Johnson was in Washington to receive the Irving Kristol award from the American Enterprise Institute. He was interviewed by the Institute's president, Arthur Brooks. close
