Florida Congressman Ted Deutch raises newly reported allegations of sexual abuse against thousands of migrant children in U.S. custody by contract employees of the Health and Human Services Department. The allegations were included in documents handed over to Congress by the department. According to the documents the Office of Refugee Resettlement received 4,556 complaints and the Justice Department received 1,303 complaints, including nearly 200 allegations of sexual abuse between 2017 and 2018. close
