Dr Norman Goldwasser shares that Historian Rachel Levandoski gave an illustrated talk about psychiatry and World War I shell shock at the National Museum of Health and Medicine in Silver Spring, Maryland.

Goldwasser shared Ms. Levandoski, a historian in the Secretary of Defense’s historical office, detailed the nature of shell shock and the lessons learned, or not learned by military psychiatrists at the time.
