Our resolution, H.Res 106, condemns the abhorrent practice of FGM/C and passed the House of Representatives with unanimous support. Additionally, the proposal recognizes FGM/C as a human rights violation, and calls on the international community to do more to protect girls and women. We’ll continue to demand an end to FGM/C, justice for its victims, and protection for the vulnerable among us.
