Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer calls for the resignation of Labor Secretary Alex Acosta over his role in a 2008 plea deal in Florida, in which Jeffrey Epstein avoided prosecution on sex trafficking charges but agreed to two counts of solicitation. Senator Schumer says if Mr. Acosta doesn't voluntarily step down, the president should fire him. He also says the Justice Department needs to provide a full accounting of the plea deal, and he says the president needs to answer for his relationship with Mr. Epstein, who is now facing sex trafficking charges in New York. close
