After filing the necessary paperwork to put President Trump on the ballot in the New Hampshire Republican presidential primary, Vice President Mike Pence speaks to reporters. Asked about his conversations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about military aid and tackling corruption, the vice president criticizes the impeachment inquiry in Washington and says the American people have the transcript of President Trump's call with the Ukrainian leader and can see that there was no quid pro quo. He also calls the impeachment inquiry "a disgrace" and says Democrats are trying to undermine the president and undo the results of the last election. The vice president is also asked if he would campaign for Jeff Sessions if he launches a bid for his old Senate seat. "We'll let the people of Alabama make that decision," the vice president says. close
