President Denies Quid Pro Quo, Says He Doesn't Know Ambassador Sondland Well

Before leaving the White House to tour a Mac Pro manufacturing plant with Apple CEO Tim Cook, President Trump reacts to testimony form his E.U. ambassador, Gordon Sondland, in the impeachment inquiry. He denies that there was any quid pro quo. He says he told the ambassador in a phone call that he wanted nothing from Ukraine and that he should tell President Zelensky to "do the right thing." President Trump also says that he doesn't know Ambassador Sondland very well and that he supported other candidates in the 2016 election. close
