Deputy Counsel to the President Patrick Philbin responds to a question from Senators Collins and Murkowski on whether President Trump ever expressed worry about corruption in Ukraine relating to the Bidens before Joe Biden announced his candidacy for the presidency. Mr. Philbin says he can't point to something in the record that shows the president mentioning something related to the Bidens, but says he did talk about corruption in Ukraine during meetings with then-President Petrosheno in June and September 2017. He goes on to say that the president learned about Hunter Biden's connection with Burisma from his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, before Biden announced. close
