Governor Murphy on Updated New Jersey Coronavirus Numbers

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) announces the new coronavirus numbers for the state from the previous day, which is an additional 3,457 residents who tested positive for the virus, while 5,863 have lost their lives due to COVID-19 complications. To date, the state has 105,523 positive coronavirus cases. Despite the numbers, Gov. Murphy says the curve is flattening, but warns that "we need to see more progress and more slowing before we can begin implementing any effort to get ourselves on the road to the new normal that awaits our state." close
