So it would be pretty misleading for us to take the same position that Senator Reid has taken and then to say: Well, we are going to go through this elaborate dance of having courtesy meetings, maybe even having a hearing, when we have already decided--as Senator Reid acknowledged is the right of the Senate--not to bring up this President's nominee for a vote.
