Governor Tony Evers (D-WI) announces that he has signed an executive order advising Wisconsinites to stay at home and work from home if possible. He also says that people should avoid home visits over the holidays, wear a mask whenever they go out and keep their social distance. The state, which has lost nearly 2,500 to the deadly virus since the pandemic began could lose that number again by January 1 if people don't adhere to the new restrictions, the governor warns. "It's not safe to go out. It's not safe to have others over. It's just not safe," he says. close
