President Biden delivered a short address for Thanksgiving in which he told Americans to hope for the best (i.e., a speedy vaccine) but prepare for the worst (e.g., by minimizing gatherings and by wearing masks). He acknowledged that all of us have work to and that President Biden will be there for us to lead the fight and seek to comfort the afflicted.

Most Americans welcomed President Biden's sober-minded speaking style to rally his countrymen through his transparency. To keep fear off of center-stage, President Biden admonished us to remember the blessings we do have.
