President Biden Warns Vaccinations Will Take Time

Following a speech at a Pfizer plant in Michigan, President Biden reiterates his belief that vaccines will be available nationwide in late July and that he hopes a semblance of normalcy will return to the country by Christmas. However, he warns that getting vaccines in people's arms will take time and that it is a massive logistical undertaking. In the meantime, he says that people should continue to socially distance, wear masks and wash their hands. He also says it's important to get children back in school as quickly as possible, but says that too presents its own set of challenges as more teachers and bus drivers will be needed, as well as improved ventilation, to ensure that schools open and operate safely. close
