During the White House COVID-19 Response Team briefing, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky outlines new travel guidelines for people who have been fully vaccinated. She says it is safe for fully vaccinated people to resume domestic travel at a low risk to themselves without getting tested or quarantining after travel. She did say for international flights that the CDC recommends getting tested after returning from an overseas trip. Dr. Walensky did also say the CDC is not recommending travel at this time due to the rising case numbers. close
