CDC Director Announces Easing of Mask-Wearing Restrictions for Fully Vaccinated Individuals

Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, announces that fully vaccinated individuals no longer have to wear masks or socially distance inside or outside regardless of crowd size. However, those individuals who are immune compromised to consult with their doctor before they stop wearing their mask. The CDC director also says those who are not yet vaccinated remain at risk to mild or severe illness and death, and spreading the disease, and says they should continue to wear their mask and get vaccinated. close
