President Biden Welcomes CDC's Easing of Mask-Wearing Restrictions for Fully Vaccinated Individuals

During a speech in the Rose Garden, President Biden welcomes the easing of mask-wearing restrictions for fully vaccinated individuals, calling it a "great day." Earlier, the CDC announced that people who are fully vaccinated (received their second dose two weeks ago) no longer have to wear a mask or socially distance indoors or outdoors. The change, which comes as infections, hospitalizations and deaths decline nationwide, does not apply to people who are partially vaccinated or have not been vaccinated.
