Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says talks on an infrastructure bill are moving along on two paths, one with the White House and Senator Capito, which he says "appears to be running into a brick wall," and another led by Senator Sinema and Senator Portman that would be closer to what the president wants. However, he says that not everything will likely be done in a bipartisan fashion and that reconciliation is being pursued at the same time. "It may well be that part of the bill that will pass will be bipartisan and part of it will be through reconciliation. But we're not going to sacrifice the bigness and boldness in this bill. We will just pursue two paths and at some point they will join." he says. close
