GOP Leader Blames Speaker Pelosi and Democrats for January 6 "Altercations"

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) says at a news conference on the Capitol steps that Speaker Pelosi is responsible for what he calls the "altercations" that took place on January 6 during the certification of the Electoral College Vote and that he did not know that a message had been handed to the Speaker to call in the National Guard to defend the Capitol.
