Democratic Senators Robert Menendez and Richard Blumenthal introduce legislation to require a review and declassification of documents related to the Saudis role in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, in which 2,974 people died. The legislation on behalf of victims families also requires the federal government to provide Congress with a justification if it fails to declassify any documents. September 11, 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the downing of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. close
