CENTCOM Commander General Kenneth McKenzie apologizes for the civilian casualties in an August 29 air strike in Kabul targeting what where at the time believed to be ISIS-K fighters feared heading to the airport where the evacuation effort was underway. Ten civilians died in the strike, including 7 children. "I offer my profound condolences to the family and friends of those who were killed.
