During a Washington Post LIVE forum on children's health, Dr. Kawsar Talaat, with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, raises concerns about the increase in pediatric vaccine hesitancy. “We are seeing rising rates of vaccine hesitancy in the United States for pediatric vaccines and that is something to be very concerned about and to watch carefully," Dr. Talaat says. Her warning comes as the Biden administration steps up its children's COVID-19 vaccination program. To date, about one million children have received their first dose. The administration says it has purchased enough doses to vaccinate 28 million children. close
