German Foreign Minister
Annalena Baerbock in a speech to the U.N. General Assembly says that it is time for countries to choose what side they are on following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. She also calls out her Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, and accuses him of lying to the U.N. Human Rights Council for saying Russia was engaged in self-defense when it is bombing Russian civilians living in Ukraine's second largest city of Kharkiv. "Now we all have to choose: Between peace and aggression. Between justice and the will of the strongest. Between taking action and turning a blind eye," the German minster says in closing. close
