Question from U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson (R) (OH-06): “With the tens of billions of dollars now going toward broadband deployment, we must make sure that regulator barriers do not stand in the way of closing the digital divide once and for all. We’ve heard concerns from some providers that access to existing infrastructure such as poles may impact RDOF awardees seeking to deploy in underserved and unserved areas. What’s the FCC doing to ensure that there aren’t barriers to the success of the RDOF program? And what actions has the FCC taken to address these barriers to access?”

You need access to them if you want to deploy to unserved and underserved areas.
