Secretary of State Antony Blinken says that Ukraine has given the U.S. assurances that it will not use advanced rocket systems against Russian territory and says there is a "strong trust bond" between the U.S., it's allies and partners, and Ukraine. His comments come amid concerns that Russia views the weapons systems as escalatory. Secretary Blinken says the president has been clear about what the U.S. would do in the event of an invasion, including helping Ukraine to defend itself. "We have done exactly what we said we would do...It is Russia that chose to launch this aggression...They started the conflict. Again, they can end it," he says. close
