AG Garland Vows Thorough Review of Law Enforcement Response to Uvalde Mass Shooting

Attorney General Merrick Garland speaks about the one year anniversary of the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, in which 19 students and two teachers died. He also speak about the ongoing review of the law enforcement response to the deadly shooting and reiterates the Justice Department's "continued commitment to a thorough and substantive review," saying, "We know that nothing we can do can undo the pain inflicted on the loved ones of the victims, the survivors, and the entire community of Uvalde. But the Justice Department is doing everything in its power to assess what happened that day and to provide the answers the Uvalde community deserves." close
