The Civil War: 1864 Presidential Campaign - Saturday 6 & 10pm ET

A panel of historians and authors discuss President Lincoln's 1864 re-election campaign. They explore Lincoln's expansion of presidential war powers, his relationship with both Democratic and Republican newspapers, and the impact of the soldiers' vote. The discussion was part of the Lincoln Forum's annual symposium in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Lectures in History: Henry Ford's Publications on Jews - Saturday 8pm & Midnight ET

Brandeis University professor Jonathan Sarna talks about industrialist Henry Ford's international weekly, "The Dearborn Independent," and its publication of anti-Jewish articles. The articles were later published as a series of books.

Reel America: "Tried by Fire" (1965) - Sunday 4pm ET

Seventy years ago, on December 16, 1944, the German Army launched operation "Watch on the Rhine" - better known as the Battle of the Bulge. Adolph Hitler's plan was to surprise the Allies and capture the Belgian port of Antwerp. This 1965 episode of the U.S. Army's "The Big Picture," narrated by actor Paul Newman, chronicles the story of the 84th Infantry Division during the battle, and includes American and German veterans reflecting on their experiences some 20 years later.

White House Holiday Decorations - Sunday 6:30pm ET

"Project Runway" co-host Tim Gunn hosts a panel discussion on White House holiday decorations and traditions from the Kennedy to the Obama administrations. Panelists include Lynda Johnson Robb, daughter of Lyndon B. Johnson, and former White House Chief Usher Gary Walters.
