The House agreed to S. Con. Res. 144, correcting the enrollment of S.J. Res. 317, commemorating the bicentennial of the French Revolution and the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. The House agreed to the Moakley motion to table the Walker motion to discharge the Committee on Armed Services from the further consideration of H.R. 4264, National Defense Authorization Act for FY89. The House disagreed to the Senate amendments to H.R. 4481, to provide for the closing and realigning of certain military installations during a certain period. The House agreed to the conference report on H.R. 4637, making appropriations for foreign operations, export financing, and related programs for FY89. The House failed to suspend the rules and pass H.R. 4720, to amend title 13, United States Code, to provide for the inclusion of members of the uniformed services and civilian employees of the Government assigned to posts of duty outside the United States, and their dependents, in censuse
