House Passes FAA Reauthorization, 387-26
House Session - June 16, 1995

The House of Representatives began this session with One Minute Speeches. Any Member may be recognized for one minute to speak on any subject of their choosing. The House then moved on to the consideration of an $11.2 Billion Dollar Military Construction Bill. Funding would be $2.5 Billion more than than this year and $500 million more than President Clinton requested. The bill includes money for base realignment, NATO infrastructure and military family housing. Members are considering the proposed for debate on the bill. Several amendments to the bill are expected today.
