The House Is Not In Session
House Session - December 30, 1995

The U.S. House of Representatives met and upon introduction the majority made an objection to a unanimous consent request to consider S. 1508, to assure that all Federal employees work and receive pay during the federal government shutdown. Members spoke on the bill before passing it by unanimous consent. The House then stood in recess subject to the call of the chair.
