Senate Session - April 4, 1989

The Senate resumed consideration of a motion to proceed to consideration of H.R. 1231, to direct the President to establish an emergency board to investigate and report respecting the dispute between Eastern Airlines and its collective bargaining units. A unanimous consent agreement was reached providing for the consideration of S. 248, to amend title 18 of the U.S. Code to provide increased penalties for certain major frauds against the United States. A unanimous consent agreement was reached providing for the consideration of S. 4, to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to restore the minimum wage to a fair and equitable rate.
