The Senate agreed to the conference report on H.R. 2698, to make appropriations for agriculture, rural development, the Food and Drug Administration. The Senate agreed to the conference report on H.R. 2942, to make appropriations for the Department of Transportation. The Senate passed H.R. 2038, to authorize appropriations for intelligence activities of the United States government, the intelligence community staff, and the Central Intelligence Agency retirement and disability system, after striking all after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu thereof, the text of S. 1539.
