An overview of the site of the book festival was shown before an interview with Michael Oren. The previous evening Mr. Oren won the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for history for his book Six Days of War: June 1967 and the Making of the Modern Middle East, published by Oxford University Press. Mr. Oren also responded to telephone calls from viewers.

Mr. Wasserman was interviewed about the Los Angeles Times Book Review, about the festival, and about the book publishing industry.

Roberto and Anita Cano spoke about reading and publishing trends for Spanish and bi-lingual books. close
