The National Forum on Youth Violence Prevention, an interagency initiative led by the Justice and Education departments, held a two-day forum on preventing youth violence. The opening session included remarks by White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and members of Congress. Officials from six cities around the country gave presentations on their programs to help reduce youth and gang violence. close
