The Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, also known as the United Kingdom Supreme Court , , is one of the three highest appellate courts in the United Kingdom, along with the High Court of Justiciary which is responsible for criminal law in Scotland, as well as the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council which is responsible for appeals from various Commonwealth countries.
