C-SPAN previewed the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. Guests included Major Garrett, Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) and former Governor John Sununu (R-NH).

Republican spokespersons briefed the media on the agenda for the night’s convention. They said the speeches for the night would focus on the theme, “safe in our homes and in the world.”
