The C-SPAN School Bus visited the Gunston Hall Plantation in Mason Neck, VA. This was the home of George Mason, who authored the first Bill of Rights and the Virginia Declaration of Rights, the basis of the former. Gunston Hall was acquired by the Commonwealth of Virginia in 1932 and was opened as a museum in 1950. close
