Committee members heard testimony from Internal Revenue Service auditors during the third day of hearings on IRS reform and oversight. The auditors testified about the phenomenon of large corporations and wealthy taxpayers can save millions of dollars on disputed tax bills, while smaller businesses are closely targeted. Ginger Jarvis, auditor, Internal Revenue Service, (IRS), said that "millions of tax revenues owed to the U.S. Treasury by some of the largest taxpayers in this country are literally forgiven. close
